Eligibility For Admission
A Candidate passed the examination for the Bachelor's Degree in any of the faculties of the University or any other statutory University or Examination recognised as equivalent thereto or last higher exmination specified under the rules approved by Bar Council Of India with 45% marks in aggregate (relaxable upto 5 % in the case of students of schedule Caste and Schedules Tribes).
The Maharashtra Govt. has introduced the State level entrance exam from the year 2016-17 for the admission to Law Degree. Henceforth, admission is now regulated by State Govt. CET Cell.
DISCIPLINARY RULES
- Application for the admission is to be made in the prescribed form attached with the Prospectus.
- Incomplete or defective application is liable to be rejected .
- T.C.(original) Attested true copy of Marks List, Migration Certificate (if necessary), Caste Certificate, Two passport size photographs and all other relevant documents are to be enclosed with the application form.
- Rule of Bar Council of India and University shall be applicable.
- Admission to the LL.B.1'st Semester shall be regulated by the entrance test to be conducted by State Govt. through its CET Cell.
- All the admission shall be provisional and subject to the rules of Bar Council of India and the University hence, it may be cancelled at any time ,if affiliation is not granted or admissions not accepted by the said authorities.
- Every students has to furnish an Undertaking about the regular attendance (minimum 75 %) and abidance of rules and regulations of the college and the authorities
- The Students of other University are duty bound to produce equivalence certificate from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University to confirm their admission failing which they are not entitled for admission.
